Look, I don't have the authority to tell anyone anywhere ever, what to put on their body. The fun thing about getting dressed is that no one can. I don't give a shit what you think I should be wearing, and honestly, that realization is one of the most thrilling moments I have ever had.

My current fashion icons, we'll start with my forever icon, Miss Peg Bundy.

Ilana Grazer from Broad City.

Erykah Badu for Givenchy (also, for life).

AndJoanna Stayton / Annie Proffitt (Goldie Hawn in Overboard)

There are more people who inspire me, and I plan to add them accordingly.

Here is the outfit I wore on Sunday to celebrate my birthday with some of the best people I know.

#iwokeuplikedis

after 5 1/2 days of sleeping in i did not want to get up this morning for work. however, i willed myself out of bed about an hour before i had to leave and decided wholeheartedly not to wash or brush my mop, just dry shampoo those baaangs. so i did just that, thus please excuse my coif. i slapped together this outfit in a pinch, this skirt has become my go to when i don't want to work too hard to get dressed. she can be dressed up or down and i consider her very flattering.

skirt: forever21+ , denim shirt: target (similar here) , tank top: forever21+ , boots: forever21 (similar here and here) , glasses: cause i had no time for mascara (pardon the glare)

within a couple hours of arriving at work i experienced a mild "altercation" with a certain person who referred to wes anderson as awful. i informed him that he was in fact awful and he told me that i looked like i just woke up. i took that as a compliment, quoted beyonce in lyric and hand motion "i woke up like dis" and returned to my work. the day improved from that point on, thank you queen bey.
